里面有化了妆的和没化妆的。
里面有睡饱的脸和没睡饱的脸。
里面有早上出门前拍的下午去健身房前拍的和晚上睡觉前拍的。
里面有很开心的时候一点点开心的时候和一点点不开心的时候。
但，全部，通通，很明显的，都是拼命在往瘦里拍的。

9月5号晚，9点55分，我坐在法拉盛Arthur Ashe Stadium外，独自，但有老酒有音乐，看屏幕上Roddick和Isner抢七打到了3:4，拿着7:00pm的票，等待入场。右前方坐着两对double dating的男女，无心看球，只管谈情。左后方躺着一帮西班牙女游客，无心看球，只管拍照凹造型。右后方是个男小豌领着high school sweet heart，无心看球，只管各自埋头发短信，又或者是在fb上飞扬地更新。

原本想用似水流年来形容，从05年第一次身在其中而听到记记网球落地的响声，到后一年，再到现在。然后又想想，还小，用不着。这么点过去了的人，和事，和时间，算什么。

比赛真正开始已经过了十点半，Blake对Robredo。纽约夜空下的露天球场，星条旗随风摆动，‘blake!’此起彼伏，架架飞机从头顶飞过。真高兴场上是Robredo，对我来讲，比Federer或Nadal都好。我有一张名叫TommyMeetsGrace的照片。彼时，我第一次切实地体会到生命中的确存在各种可能性，被预设好了，等待你和它们迎面相撞。我们，还会不会，再次遇到？

Just finished meeting with my advisor... He's satisfied with the lecture slides I prepared for next wed's which I will be covering for him when he's out of town. It's a graduate level class w/ 70 students. I am freaked out alreday... planned to have a big lunch today! - grace

So this is what I called for a big lunch...I should be going to the newly opened Japanese restaurant and having udon instead..but since I may get a free lunch tomorrow from my advisor for "thank you for covering", why pay it on my own? - grace

The new semester officially started today. I am picking up Fluid Dynamics, one of the classic core mechanical courses with Prof. Lewalle. I worked for him as a teaching assistant last semester. HE IS JUST BRILLIANT. I love SO MUCH the way he places ideas. Let me show you a lecture note from him which demonstrates some concepts on Wake Formation (check the figure below). Though the content is totally irrelevant to my field of research, I do think it has versatile merits, such as improving mind-mapping as the professor claimed, enhancing mechanical brain thinking, and last but not least, making everyone (myself included) believe that I am still an ME major.

The other course I will be taking is Risk Management from information school. I suppose it is more business-oriented that requires a lot of case study, team work, class participation, and blah blah blah...So as you can tell, I am not much into it at this point, but still looking forward to it owing to its multidisciplinary perspective.
